Pass the Pigs

Larry played this game at a manager's event, and enjoyed it so much, he got it for our house.  It was a big hit with the kids.

Sunday afternoon

After swimming at the Y, and taking Roxy for a walk in the snowy park, I was mighty tired.

Playdates

Alana had a great time with Emily, while Cal was playing with Jake.  The girls are behind the doll house - apparently this play date required getting out a LOT of toys!

Roxy and Lucy

We've been going to that park for over 4 years and we've met dozens of dogs, but tonight, a dog that seemed friendly at first, suddenly attacked Roxy. I was shocked, but even more so by how quickly Lucy got the better of Roxy - I thought she would win a fight. She got a cut under her ear, and a few scratches - nothing major. She was more upset by my yelling, though I was yelling at Lucy, not her. I thought Lucy's owner could have been a lot more apologetic! Maybe he was distracted by concerns about a lawsuit, as well he should!

This is a really fun school project - decorate the snowman with whatever craft materials you have in your house. 

Youth group bowling

Cal played 4 games with the synagogue youth group and he did really well - he got several strikes and spares!  Here, he's just made it into the 100 Club.

Pajama Havdallah event

We had a great time at this fun event!  Alana is licking the frosting off a cookie, and watching The Muppet Movie at the PJ havdallah evening at our synagogue.

Playdate

Alana and Lily had so much fun together - they played and played and played all afternoon.

Pretty snow

Since we got slammed with 5 feet of snow in less than 2 weeks in December, we've gotten almost no additional snow, and what we've gotten has arrived in small batches of an inch or two.  Overnight they were calling for several inches, but we got just enough to be pretty this morning.
