The kids had friends over to play on Saturday - Cal had Jonah and Alana had Amelia (both are friends from school), but I didn't take any photos. While they played, I cleaned out the frig and freezer, and made another batch of the sweet potato curry soup. In the evening, Cal went to a pizza party and then the Crunch game (hockey) with the Junior Youth Group at the Temple. Alana and I stayed for the whole Open Mic, and then raced home - Lily babysat while I went to the Recovered Voices concert (Holocaust composers) with my friend Rachel.
Sunday we had religious school, and Meredith, Dawn and I met with the rabbi to talk about getting kids more involved in Shabbat services. Then we went to Dawn's house for lunch and the kids played for awhile. I didn't take any photos there either. We stopped at Liquor City to get some wine, then we dropped Cal at Jake's house so they could go see The Tooth Fairy (with Dwayne Johnson in a tutu!) Alana and I went to the mall and each bought a dress - me for the cocktail party in Greensboro and Alana just because she had served me well as Fashion Advisor (I tried on almost a dozen dresses and only found one that was even bearable).
Then Alana and I went to the grocery store to buy food for home and for the Tu B'shevat seder at the temple on Tuesday. Larry called to say he was coming home before the weather in Watertown got any worse, so we had him with us for dinner, a pleasant and unexpected surprise. Once the kids were in bed, Larry and I watched The Hangover.
A very full weekend, though very little photo documentation.
